Biography & History
Champagne Sparkles is a founding member of Victoria’s award winning Cheesecake Burlesque Revue. She’s been shaking her tatas across the globe since 2006! Ms. Sparkles creates a unique blend of burlesque with a touch of traditional, a dash of daring contemporary, and a whole lot of glitter!
Her effervescent personality and twinkling smile will have you floating on air! Her favourite drink is champagne (of course), and she loves anything that glitters! She lives to perform and wants to get you out of your seat cheering! Let’s shake her up, she’ll pop YOUR cork!!!!
Champagne first watched burlesque in Vancouver at the Commodore Ball room where she was dazzled by the amazing Catherine D’Lish. She started her burlesque performance journey in Victoria, BC, Canada with fellow Cheesecake Midori Colada at a workshop in early 2006 with Vancouver’s Little Woo. After hearing about the history of burlesque, learning how to twirl tassels and being taught some choreography she was racing to the stage!
Her first performance was in the living room of Kitten Kaboodle, which quickly lead to forming the Velvet Smut Revue - a short lived troupe that transformed into the Cheesecake Burlesque Revue when they merged with other performers interested in burlesque in Victoria! Her first public performance was the sold out “Dream Boudoir” party at the Victoria Event Centre - the loud cheers and applause of 250 people hooked her! And she’s be on stage as often as possible since then!
Champagne has performed at over 150 shows! She’s performed at all kinds of events - private shows, corporate events, night clubs, gala fundraisers, roller derby half time shows, and sold out theatre shows of over 700 people! She has taken the stage across Western Canada, San Francisco, Las Vegas, New York and as far away as Berlin!

I had never seen Champagne’s Ma Nam a Nah act before and it is AWESOME!! It was really nice to see abit of humor injected into the evening and I thought it was super well done/hilarious!! Three cheers for misbehaving giant bird puppets!!! And Betsy’s cowgirl number was beyond fun!! So much life and joy in this number!! Her personality lit up the room! I was super proud of our BC girls!!”
